The Pop Star Plays a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary Teaser
The Grammy-winning artist is gearing up for a substantial cinematic onslaught in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Within the project, she portrays what she refers to as a hell version of her public image.
It’s the truest representation of the music industry that I’ve ever encountered, Charli remarked.
She elaborated in a conversation: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration originated from the expectation to produce one.
A Glimpse into The Film
The initial preview, released on recently, mixes actual recordings from Charli’s Sweat tour with fictionalized backstage scenes.
The mockumentary is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who revealed that the story revolves around a scenario where Charli made entirely different choices during the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

A Packed Acting Schedule
This project is a single one of several upcoming movie projects for the star, who already starred in three independent movies in the current year.

The coming year will also see Charli together with Olivia Wilde in romantic thriller I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in creative industry mystery The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in horror remake Faces of Death.
She recently joined to star in the actress’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.

Next February will also include the launch of Emerald Fennell’s adaptation of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase new music from Charli.
Additionally, she will provide music for the film Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch in the coming year.
The mockumentary is set to premiere on the 30th of January.
