Around 25,000 households in southeastern Queensland woke up without power on Monday morning after powerful weather events impacted the state, bringing wind gusts reaching 109 kilometers per hour.

Large Frozen Precipitation and Extensive Damage

Locals reported large ice chunks as large as seven centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology verified that various areas across Queensland had been affected by substantial ice precipitation.
